A Gift of Time is a local, client-centered service that offers exceptional value for your hard-earned money. The business itself is quality-driven, not quantity. How many people will clean my home?

A team of 2-4 cleaners will come to your home, and this will include the owner and operator herself.

Will the cleaners be trained and supervised?

All the cleaners are trained and supervised by Bea, herself. As the owner and operator, Bea takes special care to make sure her employees maintain the same pristine and professional standard that she demands of herself, and that all of her clients have come to expect from A Gift of Time

Will the same people clean my home each time?

Bea herself will be at your home cleaning and supervising the others each and every time your home is cleaned.

Are you licensed and insured, and do you have WCB coverage?

Of course!

What if something in my home gets broken?

In the very unlikely event that this happens, we’ll pay for it right away!

How do you enter my home?

On-going clients often choose to leave a key with us or in a hidden place outside of the house, so that they don’t always have to be home for the cleans. The best option is the one you’re most comfortable with

If I give you my keys, how are they protected?

Client keys are kept securely with Bea, the owner, who in 10 years of business has kept every single one safe. Rest assured, your house security is our #1 priority. This is the one instance when cleanliness actually comes in second place.

How do I pay for my cleaning?

We accept Cash, Cheque, credit card, and e-mail money transfer

What is the cost of my cleaning?

The cost will be a flat rate, determined according to the size of the house and what needs to be done. It will be agreed upon before we start to clean, and it will not increase afterwards.

Should I tip the cleaners?

Please do not feel obligated to leave any tips. Having said that, tips that come from the heart are greatly appreciated!

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled clean will be billed 50%.

What if my scheduled cleaning falls on a holiday?

If you’re okay with it, so are we. These cleaning hands are never idle!

How do I give feedback on my cleaning?

If you are not 100% satisfied with the clean, please speak with Bea directly, and she’ll do her absolute best to make things right. Open and honest communication before, during, and after the clean will ensure that everyone is on the same page and your expectations are being met.
More than likely, however, you’ll be thrilled with how great your home is looking, in which case feel free to leave feedback directly on our website or any consumer site.
